Welcome to my June blog.

 First of all I am delighted to welcome the following people who have joined HHR and are now fully fledged members:

 Welcome onboard everyone. I am sure you will be great ambassadors for HHR and Harrogate District Hospital.

 We have a lot of fundraising events starting this month. On June 12th we will be holding a cake stall in the foyer of the hospital. 

June 12th we start hosting the weekly pub quiz at the Knox in Harrogate, where we launch our own version of ‘Play Your Cards Right’. It should be great fun, so please do come and support us.

 We have lots of changes as well as new shows in our programme guide for June.

The Saturday morning music zone, presented by me, extends an hour from 9am – noon. 

Oliver Stables moves his Jolly with Ollie Show to 1pm on Saturdays.

Shaun Gill hosts the Saturday Sports Desk between 3pm-6pm, keeping you up to date with all the latest sports news. 

Shaun also moves his Musical Memories to Sunday morning.

 We will once again be broadcasting live from the Knaresborough Bed Race 2017, being held on Saturday June 10th. We will be bringing you all the highlights as it happens on the day. 

 So, a busy month ahead for us at Harrogate Hospital Radio.
